What are we welding?
6 of our certified welder have been gas cutting & welding sheet pile together at Bute road, Browns Bay since February 18.
This site requires vertical up welding to AS/NZS 1554 Welding Procedure Requirements with procedures for electrode & Gasless flux cored wire welding.
Quality Control
Materials & Testing Laboratories have been inspecting the welds with a minimal amount of rework required. As a result the site managers from both sites have indicated they will continue working with us on the following projects.
Working Environment
Hazards must be thoroughly identified and mitigated as practically possible.
At Bute road, our welders have to work with permanent ground waters & fumes in enclosed spaces must be constantly monitored with a gas detector.
None of all theses hazards have stopped our welders on doing an outstanding job.
