Thiago Silva | Project Manager
Thiago Silva, a Production Engineer with ongoing post-degree studies in Project Management, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Aimecs team. Over the course of his extensive 17-year career in the Shipyard Industry, Thiago spent 13 years honing his expertise as a Structural, Piping, and Outfitting Designer. His extensive background in design and engineering has equipped him with a solid foundation in shipyard operations.
In his most recent role as Contract Coordinator, Thiago managed large-scale upgrades of PLSV, PSV, vessel repairs, offshore platforms, and various Support Offshore Vessels. Additionally, he served as the Lead of the Contract Coordination Department, demonstrating his leadership abilities.
Now, as a Project Manager at Aimecs, Thiago oversees a wide array of projects and personnel, ensuring that all project responsibilities, from material supply requests to task execution, are managed efficiently. He also maintains a keen eye on cost control, quality assurance, and client satisfaction, facing daily challenges head-on.
Thiago proudly joined the Aimecs Engineering team in October 2023 and is excited to be part of a company where commitment to excellence, quality, adherence to schedules, budgetary compliance, client satisfaction, and mutual respect are paramount values held by all team members.
