Takutai Chief recently arrived in New Zealand waters and required work to bring the vessel up to maritime and crew standards.
AIMECS has been assisting in the removal and replacement of two cargo deck walkways, the fabrication of a bridge wing canopy, and new fit-for-purpose gangway stowage.
AIMECS has also assisted in providing gangway load testing, refrigeration repairs, and new carpet throughout ships’ cabins with the help of subcontractors.
Although this has been a busy, challenging period, the AIMECS team has stepped up to help Takutai Chief begin her New Zealand operations.
